PJ Morton’s Watch the Sun TOUR

From June 2022 all the way to December, I had the distinct opportunity to play trumpet for The #Watchthesuntour with the great musician PJ MORton.

It was a real pleasure to travel to pretty much every major city in the United States (and some cities in Canada) and bring pj’s wonderful and powerful music to so many people.

I still carry Distinct memories of being backstage at the Apollo theater in New York City, stopping to see Niagara Falls with the crew, aggressively driving down the northwest coast in the late summer to make it in time for showtime at the Ace Hotel theater in Los Angeles, and being joined on and off stage by the grandmaster Stevie Wonder. Also shout out to DJ Arie for opening every night with the correct vibe and setting the tone for the audience!

Easily the greatest tour i’ve had the honor of being a part of. I’ll never forget it!
